Build deep friendships with like-minded individuals and your future co-laborers on the mission field.
A Community to Prepare You For the Mission Field
You can’t do missions on your own.
At every stage of the missionary journey, you need the Body of Christ to pray for you, encourage you and spur you on. Build friendships that last, even if you end up ministering on opposite sides of the globe.
Build meaningful relationships through every level of training.
Classroom
Work through the four threads of training as a class. Learn, share insights and grow alongside each other. Staff and students meet together weekly for chapel and pray daily for the nations.
Training Teams
Move through training as a part of an on-campus small group composed of staff and fellow students. Your training team will learn, pray and serve together throughout your two years of training.
Mentor Meetings
Meet one-on-one with an experienced missionary to discuss life, reflect on what you are learning and grow in your personal spiritual life to prepare you for a life of ministry.
A Place for Families to Prepare
Your time on the mission field will have a big impact on your family. We hold classes dedicated to marriage, parenting, raising 3rd culture kids and more. Your time at ETC will help prepare your whole family for ministry.
Child Education
On-Campus Childcare
Childcare is normally offered during class hours for young children, from nursery through pre-school. Childcare is a cooperative effort between all student mothers and staff ladies. Live streaming of classes is available when childcare is not an option.
