Requirement for Biblical Training
Formal, biblical training is required as a prerequisite to Ethnos360 Training Center. Ethnos360 Bible Institute exists to provide this, but the requirement also may be met by Christian college Bible courses. Consideration will be given to those who have taken formal Bible courses (not Bible studies) through their church and those who have been involved in church leadership ministry.
Requirement for a Sending Church
Every ETC applicant needs to be well-connected to a local church body. This church body must be willing to (1) recommend the applicant for training at ETC and (2) agree to function as a sending church. As a part of the application process, a conversation will occur between ETC’s admissions department and a member of your sending church’s pastoral staff.
Synergy Alongside Calvary University
In cooperation with the Burnham Center for Global Engagement, Calvary University and Ethnos360 are partnering so Calvary students can attend Ethnos360 Training as part of their college studies.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to hear back from the Admissions Office?
You should hear back from the Admissions Office within seven business days of submitting your application. You will receive an official admissions decision following a conversation with your sending church and the reception of all application materials. These can frequently hold up the application process so we recommend getting in touch with your references and your sending church to ensure they are ready.
When is the application deadline?
The deadline for applying is May 1. We recommend completing your application early to give your references enough time to complete their forms and for you to receive an admissions response and make plans.
What is ETC's accreditation status?
- Ethnos360 Training Center is an exempt status school approved by the MO Department of Higher Education. In that category we are allowed to issue religious degrees (no arts or sciences) and offer non-accredited Bachelors or Associates of Intercultural Ministries degrees.
- Ethnos360 Training Center is not accredited and does not qualify for any Federal aid programs or tax Education Credits.
- Ethnos360 Training Center is an approved school for those qualifying for Veteran’s Benefits.
What degree do I receive upon graduation?
Graduates receive either an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Intercultural Studies, depending on the amount of Bible Education credits they have. While the degree is unaccredited, it can be used to pursue an accredited Master’s Degree with a number of colleges with whom ETC holds articulation agreements.
